This royal blue or barn red hand painted wooden sign is perfect for the center of a rustic summer wreath or just to hang on your white picket fence. I painted the wording in white acrylic paint and it has a light sprinkling of clear glitter on it so it really sparkles in the Sun. This sign could be used all year round and it's very similar to my You Are My Sunshine sign. I like to use the sunflower to represent summertime and it really pops against the blue background.
HANGING OPTION:
All of our signs come with a wire hanger but you can request it without a wire hanger as well. We can add a picture hanger on the back if you wish. You can also add a stake if you would like at checkout.

The redwood used for this sign is from an old fence and a wire is added with a vintage fabric tie. It measures 18" x 6" and is
100 % weatherproof. This sign has the same guarantee that all of our bird houses do period they are made to last. You can also customize your colors and the size of the wood sign at checkout.

We accept custom orders for our reclaimed WOODEN SIGNS up to 48" in length. You can choose any colors or phrases that you wish. Every custom order is guaranteed outdoors. Care instructions
All of our birdhouses are all cleanable by simply removing the screws on the bottom panel and every birdhouse and sign are weatherproof. All of the art does not need special protection and all of our products are guaranteed outdoors. We spray the signs with Varathane sealant and the wood is pre-weathered.
Will birds live in my birdhouse?
Yes. yes. Birds like a second canopy so the best place for a birdhouse is under a tree, eave or high on a fence, away from cats and squirrels. We don't include a perch because predators could use them for easy access. We have many, many success stories from our customers using these guidelines.
Do I need to spray a sealant on the signs and birdhouses?
Besides SLIGHT weathering, the images, paint and structure of each item will remain virtually the same. The birdhouses are guaranteed to withstand outdoor elements. Our customers who have purchased birdhouses and signs over the past 27 years have been very pleased with our products.
The wood that we use is reclaimed fencing so it is pre-weathered and slightly petrified. We seal our signs to add a layer of protection from the elements. We do suggest that you take steps to protect your signs from especially long winters by bringing them indoors so they last even longer.
Delivery/Quality Guarantee
We guarantee the quality and timely delivery of your order. We pack each order carefully with quality packing materials to make sure your items arrive on time and safely. We will replace any item that is lost or damaged or provide a refund. We take great pride in our handmade signs and birdhouses and want you to feel good about our business too.
Wood variations and textures.
Our birdhouses and signs are definately primitive. All of the wood that we use is reclaimed from an old fence and there may be variations in each piece such as random old nail holes and knot holes. We advertise that the wood is 6" but that measurement can vary buy .5" because we use reclaimed wood that maybe slightly different in width. Tongue and groove wood is my favorite but it runs about 5" wide.
We believe that this adds to the character of each original item. We cannot guarantee that the piece of wood that we use for signs will look identical to the listed picture but we will do our best. We will also do our best to match the color.
Hand-painted wording and artwork
All of our signs and birdhouses are painted by freehand which means there are no stencils or decal stickers used for wording. Due to this fact, there may be slight variations between one sign and another but each one is definitely unique.
I take pride in the fact that all of the designs for the signs and birdhouses are our designs. They are not stenciled from a printer and I don't use a computer to pre-plan my art. I view my designs as primitive folkart and the signs and birdhouses are my canvas.(No commercial symbols please).
